Alfred’s blog

Chorlton green festival

Thank you all so very much, for choosing my name, I was having real trouble deciding, and Alfred is a great name. There were so many wonderful names I thought you would like to hear about them, and thank you all again for the wonderful choices you made.

A popular choice was  ‘ Alexander’, with Fred as next in line  Skelly the skeleton and Skelly bob also had a lovely ring to them. There was a scattering of Bone’s, Bones!, Bones and Boney, along with a Betsy Bones, Boneym and a Boneaparte, all of which are close to my heart, or ribs to be precise.  The name Dopey (because I don’t talk) was balanced by Aristotle, a nod to my intelligence.

Thank you also for the kind person that named me ‘Get well soon’, I am trying to put on weight, with lots of organic fruit and vegetables that should do the trick.  You can check on me at the Beech Road Festival, 5th July.

All your wonderful names are in this alphabetical list. Alexander, Alfie, Anna Reksic, Anna Tomy, Archibald, Aristotle, Belinda, Beryl, Betsy Bones,  Bob, Bobbie, Bobby, Boneaparte, Bones, Bones!, Boney, Boney guy, Boneym, Bone’s, Boris, Boster, Bozie, Carlisle, Carrot cake, Cecil, Dopey (because he doesn’t talk), Edgar, Elouise May, Erik, Flori, Flower, Fred,
